BeamBeam3d is a code whose original mission was using the electromagnetic
Poisson solver to calculate the effect of disruptive effect of bunch collisions.
It has been extended to include resistive wall impedance, chromaticity and other real-world measured
beam optics.
The BeamBeam3d solver and other physics processes will be incorporated into the
Synergia framework.
Being able to simultaneously calculate multiple physical processes will allow us to investigate
strong-strong beam-beam effects at the FNAL Tevatron, high intensity FNAL Main Injector
and Booster operations, and ILC component modeling, especially the damping ring and interaction point.
